Silje is a photographer and filmmaker based in Oslo. She is educated in fine art photography, and has a bachelor in media and communication and more than 10 years experience working in different fields. Her work spans from photojournalism to commercial photography, with a preference for documentary work, portraits on location, travel, nature and landscapes.

She is inspired by the wild and the unchangeable, the different ways we see the world, and the subtleties and subjectivity of everyday life. The way light moves and the moods of the ocean are her favourite subjects.
